2. The Veterans Remembrance Award of Excellence.

Congratulations! I am Ken 'Jake' Jaccard, of 'Jake's Yankee Station' - my Tribute site to the USS Hancock (CVA-19), her life and times, and her crew.

Thank you for your invite to your Tribute Site to your brother. Having looked it over extensively, I was moved in such a way, that I wish to honor your tribute site to your brother, "ARVN General Nguyen Van Hieu's Page" with my 'prestigious' "Veterans Remembrance Award of Excellence."

To qualify for this award, your site must memorialize our Fallen Comrades of the Vietnam war in one way or another. You have done this and more!

Also...

Your site was reviewed for originality, usefulness of information, graphic design, and was found to add an outstanding artistic flair, careful and concise design, and a wealth of information. Your site not only enhances the originality of our Internet Veterans Community, but also encourages our youth in developing a positive patriotic spirit. It is my opinion that no one can educate the upcoming generation, and prepare them for leadership tomorrow, than those within the Veterans Community. I wish to tell you that you have gone 'Above and Beyond the Call of Duty' in this regard! Job well done! You certainly have earned it.

Please note that these awards are numbered, you's being #5. No other website shall ever possess this unique award. Your site has earned #5! May all who come to visit your Site be equally touched, and moved as I was!

3. The Dolphin's Luuk Award of Excellence.

I had a look around your site about your brother. It's great and there's a lot of info. I read most of it and was impressed. I know you didn't ask for it, but I would still like to offer you my award of excellence. Your homepages are different. There are not too many pictures, but the novel way of navigation, the design and especially the information given is unique and very extensive.

Yes, you have won my award. This award is very popular in the world, yet not easy to get, as there are very stringent requirements to get it. Usually people apply for it through my application form, but in this case that's not required. I hope you will accept it.

Greetings from the Netherlands,
Luuk Francken

4. Award Nets' Fren Award.

The "ARVN General Hieu" web site has been selected to receive Award Nets' "Fren Award". This is in recognition of the countless hours of hard work you've spent developing your web site. Though this award can't make up for the frustration that often accompanies web site development, we hope you will except this small token, as reward, for a job well done.

From all of us at Award Net again, "Congratulations". "Nice looking web site".

Sincerely,
